Specialist note

Hank Thompson had a great love of the 12-string guitar. A 12-string Stella was one of the first guitars he purchased and it was that Stella that got him his first radio work on WACO in 1942. Though no images exist it can be assumed Thompson purchased this instrument with the intention of using it for live performance in his later career.
