Madame Van Thieu was known to have always worn jadeite jewellery at many of the state functions she attended with her husband. Offered as Lot 2315, this Burmese jadeite bangle was considered one of her prized possessions. This fine jewel displays a rich emerald green and a high degree of translucency, features so typical of the old mine material coveted by top jadeite collectors.
