Tasting Note: Henri Jayer is unquestionably a Burgundy super-star. His 1985 Vosne-Romanée Cros Parantoux, which was gorgeous early in life, is revealing some characteristics of a wine in decline, particularly as it sits in the glass. Initially, its sumptuous perfume of black raspberries, dried herbs, leather, smoke, and minerals jumps from the glass.
