According to the Archives of Omega, the present watch was sold to the Swiss market on 26 June 1953.
It is one of the exceedingly rare "De Luxe Chronometer" reference OG 14327 models cased in white gold with white gold bracelet to appear in public to date. Introduced into the market in 1953, the iconic "De Luxe Chronometer" was available mainly in yellow gold cases. Examples in white gold or platinum are exceedingly rare and have become highly coveted collector's watches.
The appeal of the present watch is furthermore enhanced by its very good, original overall condition.
