Cal. 9 3/4''' nickel-finished lever movement, 19 jewels, two-tone silvered dial, luminous Arabic numerals, luminous hands, outer blank mirrored ring bordered by railway five minute divisions, engine-turned subsidiary seconds, tonneau-shaped water-resistant bubble back type case, polished flat bezel, polished fluted rigid hooded lugs, stainless steel Rolex buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

Amongst the most sought after variants of the legendary "bubble back" series, the present reference 3599 "rigid hooded lugs" model furthermore stands out by its attractive combination of a stainless steel case and two-tone silvered dial. Consigned by a private collector, it is preserved in excellent, original overall condition.
