Unsigned, No. 5541, circa 1895
Nickel-finished highly jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, minute repeating on two hammers onto a gong, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, four subsidiary dials for month and leap year indicator, day, date, moon phases and constant seconds, finely scroll and foliage engraved heavy circular case, repeating slide and chronograph button in the band, unsigned, bow stamped GF and JFS, case and movement numbered 5541
58 mm. diam.

Specialist note

The movement of the present watch, although unsigned, is of highest quality and very similar to a version of the famous "LeCoultre 19/20 RMCSQ" calibre.
