Nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, silvered dial, applied gold Breguet numerals, subsidiary seconds, American made circular yellow gold case, stepped bezel, platinum snap on back with yellow gold rim, engraved triangular-shaped initials ARA to the lower half, dial and movement signed by maker, case signed by retailer

Specialist note

According to the Archives of Vacheron Constantin, the movement of the present watch was sold to their retailer Edmond E. Robert in New York in 1921 where it was encased.
