unmarked, circa 1880, comprising 2 Ostrich and 2 Emu eggs, each carved in cameo depicting native Australian fauna (Kangaroo, Koala bear, Lyre-bird, Emu and a Kookaburra) and a swagman boiling the billy, the two larger eggs suspended from the floral and fern-embellished wire work frame, the smaller eggs mounted above and below, each with fern calyx mounts, the lower egg mounted on a decorative pedestal between the 2 large eggs, on ebonised wood base with rope work border and silk top with models of an Emu and Kangaroo, fitted glass dome
