Designed as an octagonal hand mirror, within a polished gold surround, extending scalloped lapis lazuli trim, the reverse decorated with lapis lazuli mosaic tiles, centering upon an octagonal mother-of-pearl plaque, monogrammed JDW in polished gold, the tapered lapis lazuli handle enhanced by polished gold vertical bands and foil-backd citrine terminals, mounted in gold, circa 1927, 8¾ x 4¼ ins.
