The rigid hinged bangle set with oval-shaped moonstones to the pavé-set diamond surround, in maker's red leather case, with original design sketch, inner circumference 19.5 cm

This romantic bangle is a tribute to Hu's memory of the long hours she spent as a child practicing her favorite piano sonata: the Moonlight Sonata, Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C - Sharp minor "Quasi una fantasia". Anna picked these large cabochon moonstones to capture the serenity of the moonlight shining over Lake Lucerne. The sparkles of the surrounding diamonds is a reflection of Beethoven's pure love for his pupil; seventeen year old countess Giulietta Guicciardi.
