Harlan Estate's philosophy has been to produce a Californian first-growth that rivals those of the the Old World. Fruit sourced from 240 acres, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, produce two much-loved Bordeaux blends - the Propriety Red, and 'The Maiden', largely made from younger vines. Both are full-bodied, complex, opulent vines that, like their Old World rivals, can age for decades.
