A Chinese Export Encre-de-Chine 'Marriage' plate

The arms of this plate have been attributed to the families Van Bergen van der Grijp and Van Beaumont and is from one of about ten services with Dutch coat-of-arms with the same scene. The scene probably derives from a seventeenth century book frontispiece and at least six different pairs of arms are illustrated by J.A.
