Cal. 27-70 Q nickel-finished lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 28 jewels, free-sprung gyromax balance, silvered matte dial, applied Arabic numerals, two apertures for day and month, three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds with 24 hours, 30 minute register with leap year and date with moon phases, circular water-resistant-type case, stepped bezel, sapphire crystal display screw back, split-seconds chronograph mechanism operated through two round chronograph buttons in the band and through the crown, case, dial and movement signed, platinum Patek Philippe deployant clasp

Specialist note

With a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirmng producution of the present watch in 1996 and its subsequent sale on February 21st of the same year. Further delivered with a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated July 1, 1996, wooden presentation box, setting pin, Patek Philippe platinum hard case back, leather envelope and outer packaging.

Manufacture of reference 5004 was launched in 1995. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 312.
