Signed Rolex, Oyster Chronograph, Anti-Magnetic, ref. 6234, case no. 866'480, manufactured in 1962
Cal. 72B nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, silvered dial, applied dagger numerals with luminous accents, outer blue telemetre and black tachymetre scales, three engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, screw back, screw down crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet, case, dial and movement signed
36 mm. diam.

Specialist note

With Rolex New York original "Claim Check", confirmation letter, leaflet, servicing invoice dated 3 August 1974 and Consumer Invoice dated 24 July 2001.

The present reference 6234 is from the very last generation and features the appealing "underline" dial. Connoisseurs appreciate that in the early 1960s, a small number of this chronograph model was fitted with dials where the "Anti-Magnetic" was underlined.
