Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1956 and its subsequent sale on 31 July 1957. To the best of our knowledge it has never been offered in public before and is furthermore one of only 12 examples of reference 2452 in pink gold, second series, to appear at auction to date.

Reference 2452 was made in two series, the first with calibre 10'''200, from 1949 until around 1951. Production of the second series featuring calibre 12'''400, such as the present watch, started in 1950 and was discontinued around 1958.
