Marked Fabergé, with the workmaster's mark of Mikhail Perchin, St. Petersburg, circa 1890
Square, enameled in translucent pale blue over a wavy sunburst guilloché ground, centering a circular seed pearl-set aperture issuing applied gold sunrays, all within a laurel-chased two-color gold border, set with rosettes at the corners, with gold scroll strut and ivory backing, marked on edge of frame and strut
3 3/16 in. (8.1 cm.) high

Purchased A La Vieille Russie, New York, 1960s.
By direct descent to the present owner.
