A Chinese famille rose and gilt armorial plate for the English market
Circa 1740
Decorated to the central medallion with a pair of birds in a garden landscape, the well and rim with an accolé coat-of-arms with a lion's head crest and feathery mantling, the rim further enamelled with landscape panels, fine glaze cracks
23 cm. diam.
