Louis Khela Maqhubela (b. 1939)

Maqhubela is a South African urban artists who came to prominence during the surge of artistic activity in the 1960s. Maqhubela was particularly interested in the abstract work of the South African painter Douglas Portway and he travelled to St. Ives in 1973 to work with him.
