The rectangular padded seat upholstered in petit-point floral needlework with moulded seat-rail, on cabriole legs and foliate-scrolled feet, stamped three times 'HH', with batten carrying-holes, original webbing and needlework

This stool is probably the 'music stool in worsted work done by Rebecca Lady Alleyne' listed in the Catalogue of Pictures & Curios at Tissington Hall, 1887, by Ida, daiughter of Sir William FitzHerbert, 4th Bt.
