A BRONZE GROUP OF THE WRESTLERS

The original group in marble, and lacking heads and limbs was discovered in 1583 near Rome. The heads and missing limbs were added later. The group was much admired, the complex composition with the two athletes entwined gives the group its powerfull dynamics.
