DATED 1638, POSSIBLY AUGSBURG
Overall with arabesques, ribbon-moulding and foliate panels, the domed top with sliding lid dated to the reverse 1638, above two frieze drawers and a pair of doors inlaid with standing soldiers, enclosing a fitted architectural interior with glass panels simulating lapis-lazuli, above a plinth drawer inlaid with flowers and insects
