A gold medal for the Pan-Russian Fine Art and Industrial Exhibition, Nizhny Novgorod

The All-Russia Exhibition was the biggest pre-revolutionary exhibition in the Russia. Held between 28th May and 1st October 1896 in Nizhny Novgorod and funded by Nicholas II, it celebrated the greatest artistic and technical achievements of the Russian Empire, including the world's first radio receiver. Among more than sixty buildings created for the exhibition were the extraordinarily innovative steel structures by V. G. Shukhov, alongside more than 120 pavilions of private companies.
