PETOCHI

Petochi was established in Rome in 1884. Twenty years after its creation, Prince Alessandro Torlonia gave Petochi the opportunity to move its headquarters in his Palace in Via Bocca di Leone. From that day Petochi became legendary in the world of Roman aristocracy with names like the the Borghese, the Colonna, the Odescalchi and the Pallavicini families.

Petochi supplied the most important monarchs in Europe, in particular the Italian Royal Household. In 1934 Prince Umberto of Savoy entrusted Petochi to rework his grandmother's diamond rivire as a gift to his wife Maria Jos for the birth of their firstborn Maria Pia.

In the early forties the house moved to its current headquarters to Pizza di Spagna, where it continued to produce its exclusive, custom made and versatile jewels. In 2004, Petochi was bought by a prestigious Roman company that operated in the jewelry and luxury field.
