Of octagonal outline within black and white enamel foliate border, centring upon an Indian multi-coloured enamel plaque depicting exotic birds at the front and the impression of Buddah's feet at the back visible through the powder compartment, the reverse inscribed, in black and white enamel, with a cabochon onyx thumpiece, opening to reveal a mirror and a covered powder compartment, suspended by a gold and black enamel chain from a black and white enamel lipstick holder, French assaymarks for gold and maker's mark, gross weight (including mirror) 120 grs, 12x5.3 cm
