Specialist note
Fernand Paillet (1850-1918) was a renowned enamellist, mastering the fine art of painted enamel miniatures. The miniature painter of the house of Boucheron, he also often worked for Verger Frères and used classical motives to decorate jewelry and watches. Examples of Paillet's work are owned by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
