Specialist note
This print is also known as Nude with Beads (Frida Kahlo) and was included in the first group of five lithographs that the artist created in 1930, due to the persistent efforts of Carl Zigrosser of Wehye Gallery. Two years later the artist created another set of five for the gallery. These ten lithographs (including a few related proofs) and one linocut created in 1938 are the only prints Rivera created.
