VASE "CORNET DE GUBBIO" EN PORCELAINE DE SEVRES DE LA FIN DU XIXEME SIECLE
MARQUE EN VERT S.80. POUR 1880 ET EN ROUGE DE FER RF DECORE A SEVRES/82 POUR 1882
De forme tronconique reposant sur une base carrée avec pieds griffe, le col muni de quatre mascarons en relief, les bords à décor "pâte-sur-pâte" bleu clair et or d'un registre de rinceaux se détachant sur un fond bleu nuageux; petit éclat à la base
Hauteur: 54 cm. (21¼ in.)

Probablement le vase "Cornet de Gubio fond sous couverte à la main filet et décor or" entré au magasin de vente de la manufacture de Sèvres en mars 1882, vendu à "M. Friese" en octobre 1884.

Specialist note

Forme créée par Albert Carrier-Belleuse en 1880, elle est souvent associée à une large base circulaire.
