Specialist note

Alessandro, the Prince of Civitella-Cesi (1800-1886) married on 16 July 1840, in Rome, Donna Teresa Colonna-Doria (1823-1875). These doors, bearing his coat-of-arms, would have probably been part of one of their Roman palaces.
