Hand-coloured frontispiece portrait of Alexander the Great by Godby after Pinchon and 8 hand-coloured aquatint plates (some mainly marginal waterstaining to frontispiece, title and dedication leaf torn and repaired without loss, a few nicks to plates, occasional light spotting and staining). Modern red morocco-backed cloth, spine gilt. Provenance: Mark Dineley (armorial bookplate). Colas 735.
