German, 19th century
unsigned [but probably by MPS], made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores, with ungraduated equatorial, tropics and ecliptic, the continents coloured yellow, pink and green, showing some rivers, towns and islands, Australia named New Holland, Tasmania shown as an island, New Zealand shown but no Antarctic land depicted, Californea [sic] shown as a peninsula; an 8mm dent and stain to Pacific Ocean, in a modern carboard box [with:]
