Thomas Moran (1827-1926)

The present watercolor is affixed to a menu from the American Water Color Society's twenty-second anniversary dinner, which took place on St. Valentine's night, February 14, 1890. The menu is signed on the reverse by forty-five artists, including Thomas Moran, John Singer Sargent, J. G. Brown, and John Francis Murphy.
