In the distance can be seen a view of the family seat Wroxton Abbey near Banbury in Oxfordshire, a Jacobean mansion dating from the early 17th century. It was constructed on the foundations of a 13th Century Augustinian priory and has hosted a number of royal and political figures, among them James I, Charles I, George IV, William IV, and Frederick Prince of Wales, as well as Horace Walpole and Theodore Roosevelt.
