Circle of Esaias van de Velde (Amsterdam 1587-1630 The Hague)

A picture with a similar composition but with differing staffage was with Douwes, Amsterdam, in 1991-2, as Jan van de Velde II. An alternative attribution to Govert Jansz., called Mijnheer, has also been suggested.
