Cal. 727 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the black dial with applied gold baton numerals with luminous accents, luminous gold hands, three engine-turned champagne subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, in tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with gold bezel calibrated to 200 units per hour, screw back and screw down crown, two round screw down chronograph buttons in the band, 18K gold Rolex Oyster bracelet, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

The present watch is a fine example of the celebrated reference 6263 "Cosmograph Daytona" model and stands out by its beautiful, well-preserved original condition.

Reference 6263 was introduced into the market in 1971. Different versions of the model are described and illustrated in I Cronografi Rolex - La Leggenda, Pucci Papaleo Editore, pp. 328 - 335.
