Designed as an octagonal topaz dial, with rose-cut diamond hands designed as a dragon, with applied mother-of-pearl Roman numeral chapters, within a carved coral and black enamel frame with gold trim, decorated with carved jade foliate plaques and diamond collets, to the black onyx base, enhanced by mother-of-pearl and coral palmettes and jade and coral foliate panels, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1928, 5¾ x 4 x 1¾ ins., with French assay marks and maker's marks, in a Cartier brown leather fitted case
