Cal. 8-85 nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, black matte dial with applied Arabic and dagger numerals, circular monogrammed case with central lugs, case, dial and movement signed, dial further signed for the retailer
20mm diam.

Specialist note

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1937 and its subsequent sale on February 17th of the following year.

According to our research the present watch has never before appeared at auction. The reference 297 was in production between 1937 and at least 1943.
