Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1995 and its subsequent sale on October 5th of the same year.

According to our research the present watch has never before appeared at auction.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 3800 from 1981 until 2006 when it was replaced by the reference 5800/1A. For a similar example see Huber & Banbery, Patek Philippe Wristwatches, Volume 2, Second Edition, pp. 232 & 233.
