The case with brass handle and C-scroll finials to each corner, pierced and engraved soundfrets to each side, the canted angles applied with foliate mounts and on acanthus cast feet (one foot lacking), with paper label indistinctly inscribed and with inventory number 88, the brass dial with five subsidiary rings to the arch indicating day of month, repetiert/repet. nicht, quarter strike, schlagt/schlagt nicht and month, above an aperture with painted and engraved moonphase, the engraved brass dial with foliate cast spandrels to silvered chapter ring, mock pendulem aperture below XII (mock pendulum lacking) and date aperture above VI, the triple barrel gut fusee movement with six ring-turned pillars, verge escapement (incomplete) and grand sonnerie strike on two bells above (bells loose), engraved backplate; incomplete and with some damages
