Applied overall with relief roundels cast after coins and medals, the inverse breakfront top above three panelled drawers, flanked by tapering pilasters and on scrolled feet

Specialist note

This commode is applied with casts after 17th and 18th Century coins and commemorative medals all related to the House of Liechtenstein. The roundels are depicting; Prince Karl I (the original coin dating from 1616); Prince Joseph Johann Adam (the original coin dating from 1728); A medal commemorating the charter of the Savoyische Ritterorden by Princess Maria Theresia von Liechtenstein, Duches of Savoy; Prince Joseph Wenzel I (the original coin dating from 1758); A medal commemorating the dead of Prince Joseph Wenzel I in 1773 by Empress Maria Theresia; And Prince Franz Joseph I (the original coin dating from 1778).
