UNMARKED, PROBABLY CENTRAL EUROPEAN, PROBABLY MID-19TH CENTURY
Probably intended to be hung on the wall of a house, rectangular with suspension ring at top, the pierced cagework top pinned on to a solid back-plate, the centre with a 7-branch candelabrum, 'menorah', inscribed along its branches and columns in Hebrew with Talmudic phrases, with additional phrases around the border, two eagles above & another two below, flanked by scrolling foliage, the bottom left corner of border bearing owner's name in Hebrew, 'Moshe ben Leeb'
