Each upholstered in close-nailed tan leather, the foliate carved top-rail above padded back, arms and seat, the arm terminals and legs, with zoomorphic masks, on square splayed feet, the underside of the front seat-rail each stamped with the letters C to J inclusive and also stamped respectively 'C = LALJI JIWA', 'D = PIREMJI ZAVER' also inscribed in chalk 'Bingley', 'E = JERAM GORDHAN', 'F = ESMAIL KARIM', 'G = HARILAL LALJI', 'H = GIRDHAR PITAMBAR', 'I = PIREMJI & CHURNILAL DERIJI', 'J = BHANA & LAXMAN' (8)
