Tasting Note: The two premier crus from Vosne-Romanee are outstanding wines. The Vosne-Romanee Cros Parantoux is more tannic and less charming than Les Brulees, but equally concentrated and more masculine, with considerable muscle, body, and power. There are gobs of black fruits in the nose, and the wine finishes with firmness and tightness. It needs at least 5-6 years of cellaring and should keep for 15+ years. Robert Parker.
