Oblong and with rounded corners, the hinged cover vari-colour enamelled with a game bird ruffling it's feathers and standing on a branch, engraved with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, the interior wood lined, marked on body near hinge and on cover near hinge, further stamped 'HAUPTMANA' below Imperial warrant
