Lady Catherine Manners was the daughter of John Manners, 1st Duke of Rutland (1638-1711), and Catherine Wriothesley Noel (d.1733). Around 1692, she married Sir John Leveson-Gower, 1st Baron Gower (c.1674-1709), son of Sir William Leveson-Gower, 4th Bt., and Lady Jane Granville. She died on 7th March, 1722.
