Rectangular with view of the Red Gates, Moscow on cover, the sides & base with profuse scrollwork, the latter centred by a monogrammed reserve, separate hinged vesta compartment at top, gilt interior & aperture for cord match, 4¼ in. long (10.7 cm.), ALSO another rectangular silver & niello cigarette case with all-over foliate scrollwork on stippled ground & rounded corners, cover with monogrammed cartouche at centre, gilt interior, separate hinged vesta compartment at top & aperture for cord match, 12.25 oz.
