Realistically modelled group of two body-guards in greyish-green uniforms, one of them kneeling, with a young boy with his left arm outstratched and pointing ahead, after a design by K.S. Ryzhov of 1937 marked under base
8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm.)

Specialist note

The model is recorded as by Kazimir S. Ryzhov (1897-?) who in the middle of 1930s worked as a modeller at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. (T.N. Nosovich, I.P. Popova State Porcelain Manufactory 1904-1944, St. Petersburg, 2005, p. 612).
