Specialist note
Believed to be one of the four lights from the Lady Chapel of St Saviour, Warwick Avenue, London, the window was situated on the south wall. The Virgin had St Dorothy to her right and below was an Angel of the Resurrection, and the Two Marys at the Sepulchre. The design for the figure is an adaptation of Edward Burne Jones's cartoon of St Dorothy originally drawn for a window in St Martin's church, Scarborough in 1873.
