Each gadrooned top with later green leather lining, on grained down-scrolled supports joined by a concave-sided platform, the underside of both tops inscribed 'AH25', and one with indistinct initials, the tops possibly previously fitted with specimen marble
27½ in. (70 cm.) high; 31 in. (79 cm.) diameter (2)

Specialist note

Their tripod altar pattern derives from a 'Dejeuné' table in George Smith's, Collection of Designs for Household Furniture and Interior Decoration, London, 1808 (pl. 82).
