soft-ground etching and aquatint, circa 1881, on wove paper, a subtle and atmospheric impression, Breeskin's second (final) state, with wide margins, minor surface soiling, the paper slightly split in places along the platemark, a few pressure marks and printing creases in the margins, a crease at the lower right margin edge, hinge remains along the reverse of the right margin edge, otherwise in good condition
