Accompanied by Rolex Attestation de Chronomètre Officiel dated 19 June 1989.
The present Cosmograph Daytona is from the very first generation of reference's 16258 production. Made and sold in 1989, it features the earliest version of dial known to this model with the "Cosmograph" designation not attached to the previous line but following with a clearly visible distance. This first generation is also fitted with a different type of bezel, still calibrated for 200 units per hour and not 400 as the following series.
Still accompanied by its original certificate, this chronograph is already considered a very collectible classic.
